Initiated with the Ali Amjad Government Girls' High School pupils, the two-day 'School Day' celebration encompassed curriculum activities, including the teaching-learning process.

As part of the first day of the learning-teaching process, the Science Olympiad, the reception of the national award winners, the participation of the national award winners, and the SSC meritorious students were all held last Monday, which was October 7-8.

Deputy Commissioner Md Masud Alam Siddique, District Council Chairman Abdul Momin Tulu, Municipality Mayor Moniruzzaman, and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Mosharraf Hossain also spoke there.

Deputy Commissioner Md Israil Hossain said, "Co-curricular activities help in the overall development of students. Attending school helps students develop physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. They learn to adapt to different environments.

Co-curricular activities create interest in different types of work among students. To build a developed Bangladesh, students have to be made science-minded and self-reliant. Teachers have to play an important role in this regard. '

Deputy Minister of Education Ministry Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Mahabub Hossain, secretary of the Technical and Madrasah Education Division Munshi Shahabuddin Ahmed, and the director general of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Prof Dr Syed Md Golam Farooq were among others present at the program. At the end of the programme, students who won prizes at the national and international levels were felicitated.

Organized by Pitha Ghar, Science Club, Debating Club, Book Reading Club and Active Citizen Club, the students explored the environment development, good urban planning, power development and other projects. The District Collector asked the students about the project. Later, the Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the book fair by cutting the ribbon in the school premises.

On Tuesday, October 8, the second day of the cultural festival, debate competition and closing ceremony were held.
