Student Assembly Held by Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Moulvibazar

On behalf of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Moulvibazar, a student assembly and leaflet distribution program were held with the aim of abolishing the fascist system, establishing a new political framework, and including public aspirations in the implementation of the Proclamation of July Revolution.

The program took place on Friday (January 10) at 3 PM at the M. Saifur Rahman Auditorium in Moulvibazar. The assembly was conducted by senior representative of the Moulvibazar Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Shah Misbah. The chief guest was the organization’s central coordinator and executive committee member, Ibrahim Nirab.

Special guest speakers included the central co-coordinator Faisal Hossain, former chief coordinator of Sylhet District Golam Mortuza Selim, and prominent supporter of the Moulvibazar Anti-Discrimination Movement, Ehsanul Haque Zakaria.

Greetings were delivered by the head teacher of Moulvibazar Government High School, Mr. Abul Kashem, along with representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Moulvibazar—Jakaria Emon, Tanzia Shishir, and madrasa student representative Mazharul Islam.

The assembly was attended by representatives from the Moulvibazar Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, including Samayel Rahman, Ruhul Amin, Imaz Uddin, Zakaria Ahmed, Sumi Chowdhury, Abu Hanifa, and Tofayel Ahmed, among others.

Students from various upazilas of the district also participated, and following the event, a leaflet distribution program was carried out at different locations in the town.
