Seminar on child protection with parents of child development project at Srimangal tea garden

Seminar on Child Protection-2024 was held with all the parents of the project at Jagchara tea garden under the cooperation of international organization “Compassion International Bangladesh” and Central and South Bangladesh Child Development Project (BD 0405) at Srimangal, Moulvibazar.

On Thursday (September 19) at 12 noon, an awareness workshop on child protection was held with all the parents of the beneficiary students of the Central and South Bangladesh Child Development Project office in the Jagchhara tea garden of Kalighat Union.

Jubena Shahnaz, child affairs officer of Breaking the Silence, discussed child protection and their rights of project parents as an invited guest in the discussion moderated by Ribika Mohapatra.

Central and South Bangladesh Child Development Project Jagchara (BD-0405) Project Chairman Phila Patmi spoke in the seminar, President of Greater Sylhet Tripura Development Council and rights activist Janak Debvarma, Jagchara Project Manager Lucas Rangsai were present as special guests.Child Development Project Social Worker Floris Amse, Teacher Memorial Khangla, Project Implementer Pratima Mrong and others.

Parents of 322 beneficiary children of the project and local guardians were present in the seminar.
