The Moulvibazar Today:: Alif Laila(48) an election officer of Rajnagar Upazila in Moulvibazar, died of coronavirus. He died at the capital’s City Hospital around 10:30 pm on Wednesday.

It is known that the Upazila Election Officer Alif Laila gave a sample to the Rajnagar Upazila Health Complex on June 26 due to various symptoms. Later, when his condition deteriorated, he was taken to Dhaka for treatment. When the condition deteriorated further, he was kept on life support at the City Hospital in the capital a few days ago. Doctors on duty there declared him dead around 10:30 pm on Wednesday. Her husband is also undergoing treatment for corona. They have one son and one daughter. Layla’s husband works as an inspector in the Department of the Environment.

District Election Officer Alamgir Hossain said, ‘Alif Laila was taken to Dhaka for treatment when she fell ill with corona. He was placed on life support a few days ago. We knew from higher authorities on Wednesday night that he had died.’
