RAB caught Awami League leader

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-9 has arrested Awami League leader Adud Alam (56), Union Parishad Chairman of No. 4 Kalaruka of Chatak Upazila of Sunamganj district.

He was arrested from an area of ​​Jalalabad police station on Sunday (September 22) around 3 pm.

Adud Alam son of deceased Akbar Ali of Kalaruka village in Chatak.

He is accused no. 45 in the sabotage, violence and attempt to murder case (FIR No. 06/405 of Kotwali Police Station) on September 3 in the court on the charge of attacking and sabotaging the students on the Charadighi bank of the city during the protest of the students in Sylhet on August 4.

RAB-9 Media Officer Senior SSP Md. Mashihur Rahman Sohel confirmed the arrest and said that Adud has been handed over to the Sylhet Kotwali police station.
