Former and current students of Shah Khaki Madrasa organized a protest march and a brief rally condemning the brutal attacks in Palestine.

On Tuesday (April 15), the protest march began from Shah Khaki Madrasa and paraded through various streets of the city, concluding with a short rally at the madrasa gate.

At the rally, M. Abdullah, a former student of Hazrat Shah Khaki (R) Islamia Alim Madrasa, said, “This fight against Israel and in support of Palestine is not confined to any particular religion — it is a fight for global humanity. The atrocities being committed against innocent Palestinian women and children surpass even the dark times of the Age of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah). Israel’s current actions represent one of the most heinous forms of terrorism the world has seen. It is high time for the global conscience to awaken. Let us all unite and stand beside our oppressed Palestinian brothers and sisters.”

The protesting students said, “It is now imperative for the global community to unite against Israel’s brutal aggression. Bangladesh has always stood with Palestine and will continue to do so in the future. The global conscience is shaken today. Every person with a sense of justice is pained by the blood-soaked faces of innocent Palestinian men, women, and children. These inhumane attacks are clearly crimes against humanity. We strongly urge the international community to take immediate and effective action and to recognize the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. Let the world conscience rise and raise its voice to stop this brutality.”

Among those present at the rally were former students Mehedi Hasan Imon, Shahed Ali, Shahab Uddin, Abdullah Al Mamun, Misbahuzzaman Mamun, Tofazzal Hossain, Riaz Uddin, and current students Enamul Mahbub Tahi, Rayhan Ahmed Khan, Tawhidur Rahman, Ahmad, Jamil Ahmed, and Saidur Rahman Mahmud Uddin, along with other students.
