Prize Distribution, Parent Gathering Held at Shah Mostafa Academy Moulvibazar

Shah Mostafa Academy in Moulvibazar organized its annual sports competition prize distribution and a parent gathering in a joyful environment.

The event was held on Thursday (January 16) at 10:30 AM on the academy’s campus at Muslim Quarter in Moulvibazar town, under the chairmanship of Principal Md. Yameer Ali.

Hosted by senior teacher Enamul Haque Imon, the vibrant program witnessed the participation of a large number of students and parents. The event featured speeches from the Chief Guest, Moulvibazar District Education Officer Md. Fazlur Rahman, and Special Guests, Chairman of Moulvibazar Islamic Society Dewan Sirajul Islam Motlib, UK’s Barking and Dagenham Councillor Mohibul Alam Chowdhury, and UK National Health Service senior legal advisor Syed Rashedul Islam.

Among the guardians and distinguished guests who spoke were Badrul Amin Chowdhury Sufi, Md. Abdul Ahad, Maulana Mozammel Haque, and Mamunur Rahman Chowdhury.

Quran recitations and Islamic songs were performed by Abdul Hadi Amin, Fate Ali Amin, Halimatus Saadia Saima, and Ayesha Siddika Rehnuma.

In his speech, the Chief Guest, District Education Officer Md. Fazlur Rahman, emphasized the need for moral and humanitarian education for a new Bangladesh. He highlighted the significant role of parents and ideal educational institutions in achieving this goal.

He praised the enthusiasm of the students and remarked on the limitations of past educational curricula in fostering human resource development. He pointed out that while the 2021 curriculum addressed some gaps, it left others unaddressed, which affected its overall success.

During the event, the guests presented prizes to the students who excelled in various competitions, including cricket, football, biscuit race, needle-and-thread race, and pot-breaking games.
