A person named Md. Nayan Mia (19) was arrested with the help of the army with 435 pieces of Yaba and one bottle of Phencidil in Juri of Moulvibazar district. He is the son of Salim Ahmad of Gorergaon village in Jaifarnagar union of the upazila. The police arrested him on Tuesday (August 20) late night.

It is known that a special team of police under the leadership of Sub-Inspector of Thana Police (SI-Unarmed) Md Juned Ahmed arrested him from his home in Gorergaon, Jaifarnagar Union of Upazila, on the basis of secret information late on Tuesday night. At that time, 435 pieces of Yaba and 1 bottle of Phensidyl were recovered from him. Garergaon village of Jaifarnagar union of the upazila became the police plaintiff in this incident
A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act against the deceased Cherag Ali’s son Salim Ahmad and his son Md Nayan Mia.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Juri police station. Mehdi Hasan said that a case has been filed against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act. He was sent to jail by the learned court.
