Another new political party ‘Bangladesh Popular Party’ (BPP) has made its debut with the conviction of protecting the democracy and sovereignty of Bangladesh.

The party’s committee was announced at a press conference at the National Press Club’s Abdus Salam Hall on Monday (September 23).

Bakul Hossain said, “Working people should be united, people of Bengal should be united, democracy-loving people should be united” – this is the principle of our party.

Convener Sirajul Islam said, Bangladesh Popular Party will always present the opinion of the people before everyone and give suitable programs for the realization of fundamental rights.

Mentioning the immense importance of the Bangladesh Popular Party in the representative political system in the current situation, he said that according to the constitution of the country, the people participate in governance through the Bangladesh Popular Party. Bangladesh Popular Party will present the will and intention of the people to the government.People’s representatives will work through the party, Bangladesh Popular Party will develop public opinion formation, policy making and leadership of political consciousness.
