The new committee has been announced in the general meeting and 2nd council of ‘Campaign for Media Freedom (CMF)’, an organization of young Bangladeshi journalists stationed at home and abroad.
On Saturday (August 20), Chief Election Commissioner Ahmed Bakht Chowdhury and Election Commissioner Munzer Ahmed Chowdhury announced a 21-member committee with Moulvibazar representative of daily Jugantar Hossain Ahmed as president and Md Forhad Hossain, Rajnagar representative of daily Jaijaidin as general secretary.
Earlier on Thursday evening at Moulvibazar Press Club, a general meeting and election of a new committee in the council was completed.
