The house of Moulvibazar District Chhatra League’s former leader Rejaul Karim’s home was attacked by BNP, attacked and looted. BNP activists attacked and vandalized the house of late Lal Mia in Sampashi village of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila on Thursday (August 15), the day of National Mourning Day. Meanwhile, they looted the goods of the residence. It is known that the houses of Awami League and Chhatra League leaders and activists of Bangladesh have been set on fire and vandalized because of writing on Facebook abroad. Many family members were seriously injured in the ambush. The belongings of some families were also looted. Moulvibazar since Sheikh Hasina left the country on August 5 till last August 15 All these incidents took place in different areas of the district. It is known from the victim’s family and locals that Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal leaders and activists attacked and set fire to the house of Rezaul Karim, a former Chhatra League leader living in the UK, on August 15. Chhatra League leader Rejaul Karim was a student of Moulvibazar Government College during his stay in the country. He was an active member of top terrorist Jitu’s group.

At one point, he left the country and went to the United Kingdom after admitting to grouping attacks, lawsuits and torture of BNP Chhatra dal and jubo dal leaders set fire to his house on August 15. Burn the house to ashes. Many items in the house are damaged. Locals came and brought it under control. Rejaul’s mother Sahida Begum said, my son is in abroad remains The attack took place while I was staying at my village home. Terrorists armed with indigenous weapons attacked my home, they went to kill my son. The family members started screaming in fear of the terrorists. The terrorists did not find my son and broke the doors and windows of the house, looted and ransacked. It caused a loss of more than three lakh rupees. When local people came forward, the terrorists left. When my son comes home, they will not keep him alive.

Superintendent of Police Md. Manjur Rahman said, our police was not at the police station for 4/5 days after the 5th. On this occasion, some people set fire, vandalized and attacked the houses of expatriates. I received a complaint. Our operation to arrest the attackers continues. No one will be exempted.
