A discussion meeting jointly organized by Moulvibazar district BNP and its associate bodies was held on 15 September on the occasion of World Democracy Day in the four districts of Sylhet division.

The joint meeting was held at the local municipality conference room on Thursday, September 12, with Moulvibazar district BNP senior vice-president and former municipality mayor Md Faizul Karim Mayur in the chair.

District BNP Vice President Abdul Mukit, Vice President Helu Mia, Vice President Ashiq Mosharraf, Organizing Secretary Bakshi Mizbaur Rahman, 1st Joint General Secretary Fakhrul Islam, Deputy Editor Abdur Rahim Ripon, spoke at the meeting,Kulaura BNP President Shawkatul Islam Shaku, General Secretary Shamim Chowdhury, Baralekha Upazila BNP President Hafiz Ahmed General Secretary Mujibur Rahman Khasru, Rajnagar Upazila BNP President Jitu Mia, Kamalganj Upazila BNP President Golam Kibria Shafi,First Joint Secretary Pushp Kumar Kanu, Srimangal Upazila BNP President Nurul Alam Siddiqui, General Secretary Taj Uddin Taju, Srimangal BNP Convener and Municipal Councilor Mir Abdus Salam, Juri Upazila BNP General Secretary Habibur Rahman Askar, Vice President Liaquat Ali, Sadar Upazila BNP General Maruf Ahmed,Organizational Secretary Shafiur Rahman, Municipal BNP Vice President Syed Momsad Ahmad, Sarwar Majumdar Iman, Fishermen’s Party Convener Mucha Miah, Joint Convenor Kabir Ahmad, Ulamadal Convener Mau Abdul Hakim, Joint Convenor Kazi Abdur Rahim, Ishaq Ahmed Chowdhury, Mamnoon Inamul Haque Ripon and others.

It was decided in the meeting that on the morning of 15th September Moulvibazar Rajnagar Srimangal Kamalganj SOC leaders and workers gathered in the premises of Shaheed Minar of Moulbazar city and left together for Sylhet reaching Chowhatra and then leaving for Aria Madrasa field.
