Mayor Open Doubles Badminton Tournament was organized by Moulvibazar Municipality. 32 teams participated in the tournament.

The final match of the tournament was held on Friday (February 3) evening at Hafiza Khatun Girls High School ground in the town.

Under the chairmanship of Municipal Mayor Fazlur Rahman, Member of Parliament of (Moulvibazar-3) Nesar Ahmad was present as the chief guest.

Zilla Parishad Chairman Alhaj Michbahur Rahman, Baralekha Municipality Mayor Abu Imam Md. Kamran Chowdhury were present as special guest on the occasion.

During this time, thousands of sports-loving spectators including municipal councilors, journalists, and dignitaries were present.

At the end of the game, the guests gave prizes to the winners. Brothers Ekatuna won by defeating Inatganj Fighters in the final.
