A discussion meeting was held in Rajnagar of Moulvibazar in memory of the victims of the infernal violence and genocide of the Pakistani aggressors on March 25, 1971. The discussion meeting on the day of genocide was held at 11:30 am on Friday at the Upazila Parishad meeting room.

Upazila Chairman Shahjahan Khan was the chief guest in the presidency of the Upazila Executive Officer Priyanka Paul. Present on the occasion were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Bablu Sutradhar, Youth Development Officer Nazrul Islam Khan, Head of Political Science Department of Rajnagar Government College Shahanara Ruby, Primary Education Officer (Acting) Soma Bhattacharya, Rajnagar Police Sub-Inspector Hasan, Former Freedom Fighter Commander Sajal Chakraborty, Bir Freedom fighter Ramlal Rajbhar and others.
