The Kishor Kantha Pathak Forum organized an Iftar Mahfil and discussion at Moulvibazar Government High School campus on Tuesday, March 17th, commemorating the historic Badar Day. The event, which began at 4 PM, drew approximately 150 student attendees.
Held within the Moulvibazar Government High School ward, the event featured Tarek Aziz, Chairman of the Kishor Kantha Foundation Moulvibazar City, as the chief guest. Abdullah Al Mamun, Finance Secretary of the Kishor Kantha Foundation Moulvibazar City, and Sayed Abul Ala Maudud, Assistant Head Teacher (Day Shift) of Moulvibazar Government High School, were special guests. Nakib Ahmed, Director of the School Department of the Kishor Kantha Foundation Moulvibazar, presided over the event.
Tarek Aziz, in his keynote address, emphasized the significance of Badar Day. “The Battle of Badr was a pivotal moment, distinguishing between truth and falsehood. The victory of a small Muslim force against a much larger opponent demonstrates the power of faith and reliance on Allah, even in the face of overwhelming odds,” he stated. “The lessons of Badar remain relevant today. We must uphold truth and justice, guided by the Quran, and work for the betterment of society.”
Sayed Abul Ala Maudud, addressing the students, stressed the importance of character development alongside academic pursuits. “Organizations like the Kishor Kantha Pathak Forum provide valuable opportunities for you to cultivate moral values,” he said, encouraging regular participation in such events.
Before Iftar, a special prayer was offered for the welfare of the country and the nation.
