An Iftar Mahfil organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held in fultola, Juri Upazila, Moulvibazar. On the 12th of Ramadan (March 13, Thursday), fultola Union Jamaat arranged the event at the hall room of fultola Bashir Ullah High School, which included a worker education camp and an Iftar Mahfil.

The event was presided over by Md. Farid Uddin, Acting President of Fultola Union Jamaat, and conducted by Secretary Maulana Abdul Halim. The chief guest was Hafiz Maulana Nazmul Islam, former Ameer of Juri Upazila Jamaat and Secretary of the Moulvibazar District Ulama Division.

Special guests included Alhaj Abdul Hai Helal, Ameer of Juri Upazila Jamaat; Maulana Lokman Hossain, Assistant Secretary of Juri Upazila Jamaat; and Mostakim Ali Master, a member of the Shura and Executive Council of Juri Upazila Jamaat.

Also present were Hafiz Maulana Shaikhul Islam Sadi, Imam and Khatib of Phultala Bazar Jame Mosque; Maulana Abdul Malik, former teacher of Sagornal Senior Alim Madrasa; Shahjahan Kabir and Sikandar Ali, teachers of fultola Bashir Ullah High School; and many others.

Among other attendees were Haji Md. Alauddin, Vice President of fultola Union Jamaat; Nurul Islam Sohel, President of fultola Workers’ Welfare Federation; Afifur Rahman, President of fultola Youth Unit; Abdul Mumin, President of fultola Youth Division; Sabuj Mia, President of fultola Professional Division; and Lecturer Maulana Abdul Hakim, President of fultola Ulama Division, along with presidents and secretaries from nine wards and other leaders.
