General anti-discrimination students formed a human chain demanding the removal of Moulvibazar Government College Principal Debashish Debnath and his syndicate’s removal and trial.

The rally was held on Tuesday (August 27) at 11 a.m. at the College Gate premises. Suman Ahmad of Botany Department, Tanveer Ahmad of Class XI, Arafat Rahman of Mathematics Department, Sumaiya Akhter of Class XI, Kawsar Hossain of Class XI, Jannat of Class XI and others were present in it.

The students said that the immediate removal of the college principal and the immediate dissolution of all syndicate committees formed by him. Along with that, the culprits involved should be brought to justice.

It should be noted that Professor Debashish Debnath and his syndicate joined the grand festival of corruption in Moulvibazar Government College. Ever since he joined the college, he has dominated singles. Built a powerful syndicate of loyal teachers. Regular withdrawal of money from various departments of the college, embezzlement of money by fake bill vouchers, extortion of money from students in the name of appreciation and certificates, holding hostage of teachers and employees outside the syndicate, retaining employees of their choice without any appointment even after retirement and private government work. There are no end of complaints against the principal including using the car. The education environment of the highest university of the district is broken due to such corruption of the principal. He committed these misdeeds and corruption in the name of Awami League.
