Volunteer for Bangladesh Moulvibazar district organized a successful health care camp at Mahendra Kumar Government Primary School in Kamalganj today, where about 500 flood victims were provided with free medical care and medicines. This camp has played a significant role in improving the physical and mental health of the flood affected people.
Among those who participated in the camp were Dr. মো. Najem Al Qureshi Rafat (MBBS, MPH, CCD, MACP) Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun (MBBS, MD) and Tahmid Hasan Chowdhury (Sub-Assistant Community Medical Officer, Upazila Health Complex, Sreemangal). It is learnt that their sincere help and medical care played a key role in making the camp a success.
The camp not only provides general medical care, but also raises awareness about diabetes, heart disease and other complex diseases, which are very important for the long-term health of the people in the region.
