Giving condolences and gifts to the injured students in the anti-discrimination rally initiated by the Jamaat in Moulvibazar

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Moulvibazar district organized an exchange meeting today (August 26) at 4 pm at the local municipal auditorium to express condolences and give gifts to those injured in the anti-discrimination student movement in Moulvibazar district. A heart-wrenching scene unfolded as the 11 wounded brothers present at the event described injuries to their bodies and gunshots to their eyes.

Maulana Habibur Rahman, Shura and regional team member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlis, was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

District Ameer Engineer Md. Shahed Ali presided over and District Secretary Md. Yamir Ali conducted the lively event. District Naib Ameer Maulana Abdur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Md. Alauddin Shah, District Working Council Member Syed Tarekul Hamid, Town Ameer Hafez Tajul Islam, Sadar Upazila were also present in the event. Amir Md. Fakhrul Islam,Rajnagar Upazila Ameer Abu Rayan Shaheen, Kulaura Upazila Ameer Abdul Hamid Khan, Juri Upazila Ameer Hafez Nazmul Islam, Baralekha Upazila Ameer Emadul Islam, Srimangal Upazila Ameer Maulana Ismail Hossain and Kamalganj Upazila Ameer Md. Masuk Mia etc.

The chief guest called those who sacrificed their lives in the anti-student movement brave and national heroes.He highly praised the movement and expressed deep respect to all the martyrs who gave their lives and expressed his condolences to the injured and wished them a speedy recovery in the presence of Almighty Allah.

The Chief Guest gave small gifts to all present on behalf of the District Jamaat.

In the president’s speech, the District Amir assured to visit the homes of all the injured in the district and give gifts.
