Former General Secretary of Baralekha Upazila Jubo League of Moulvibazar, Abdul Qadir (55) has been arrested by joint forces.

On Friday (September 6) he was sent to jail by the court. On Thursday (September 5) at 11 pm, his house was raided in Talimpur village of the upazila and he was arrested. Son of deceased Asab Uddin of Talimpur village of Kadir Upazila.

Baralekha police station OC Sanjay Chakraborty said on Friday evening, “Jubileeg leader Abdul Qadir has been arrested by joint forces. He admitted to the joint forces that he had weapons. But the weapon could not be recovered. He has been sent to jail today by the court.
