While fixing a line at Sreemangal in Moulvibazar, a 22-year-old lineman called Rezuan passed away. Mostafizur Rahman, another lineman, suffered injuries in the collision.

While working on the line at Beltoli village in Sindurkhan union of Sreemangal upazila on Saturday afternoon (October 12), Rejuinul, a lineman for Moulvibazar Palli Bidyut Samity, passed away instantly. Rezuanul Islam, a native of Bisham Mostapur in Sonamganj, was the deceased. The injured were taken to the hospital by locals. For better care, he has been transported to Dhaka. The home of Mustafizur is located in Netrokona.

The Moulvibazar Rural Electricity Association’s general manager (GM), ABM Mizanur, stated that an investigation will be conducted into the occurrence. If any infractions are discovered, action will be taken.
