Prizes were distributed among the students of Darul Qirat of the scenic Kazi Ashraf Jame Masjid in the tourist town of Srimangal.

Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajeev Mahmud Mithun was the chief guest at the award distribution ceremony held at Kazi Ashraf Jame Masjid premises on Wednesday (April 19) afternoon.

Sports and culture editor of Srimangal Press Club Mamun Ahmed, journalist Abdus Shukur and journalist Jasim Ahmed were special guests in the prize distribution ceremony chaired by the founder of the mosque Kazi Ayesha Moni and moderated by journalist Omer Faruk Naim.

In that event, prizes were distributed among the children who participated in Darul Qirat in the light of the “Holy Quran” teaching during the holy month of Ramadan. After the distribution of the prizes, everyone participated in the Iftar party.

After that when the chief guest of the event Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajeev Mahmud Mithun arrived at the event venue, he was greeted with flowers and the founder of Kazi Ashraf Jame Masjid Kazi Ayesha Moni presented the crest.
