Iftar mahfil of Campaign for Media Freedom (CMF) was held in Moulvibazar. This iftar mahfil was organized on Saturday (April 15) at Cafe Lajawab restaurant in the town.

A pre-iftar discussion session was held under the direction of general secretary Md Farhad Hossain and presided over by the President of the organization Hussain Ahmed. CMF advisor and former general secretary of UK Bangla Press Club Munzer Ahmed Chowdhury gave speech as the chief guest.

Moulvibazar Correspondent of NTV Europe Shahnewaz Chowdhury Sumon, Dainik Bangla district Correspondent Salahuddin Shuvo, CMF Senior Vice President Ashraf Ali, Joint Secretary Ahmadur Rahman Imran, Organizing Secretary Omer Faruk Naim, Office Secretary Kamran Ahmad, Treasurer Masum Bakhs Mahi, Publicity Editor Ripon Miah, Member Alim Al Munim, Shuvo Gowala, BTV Camera Person and News Reporter MA Mostafa, Journalist Ekram Hussain, Oli Ahmed Mahin, Poet Gauhar Muhammad Jawad and others were also present.

It is to be noted that the Campaign for Media Freedom (CMF) is an organization of a group of young journalists to establish a free media who station abroad and in the country.
