Chief Adviser congratulates Bangladesh women for winning SAFF title

Prof. Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser, congratulated the Bangladeshi women’s football team on winning the SAFF championship in Nepal on Wednesday.

In a statement, he remarked, “Our women’s football team achieved a great feat.”

“You have my admiration. You have the pride of the entire country. Prof. Yunus congratulated all of the players who helped us achieve this success.

At Dashrath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu, Bangladesh’s women’s football team achieved history on Wednesday by defeating host country Nepal 2-1 to win the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Championship for the second time in a row.

In a repeat of their 2022 triumph, Bangladesh once again defeated Nepal in the final, cementing their unbeaten streak in the seven-nation tournament.
