A massive protest rally has been held in Moulvibazar against the Israeli aggression in Palestine. Thousands of people from various walks of life in the city participated in this program organized under the ‘March for Palestine’ banner.

On Monday (April 7th) at 3 pm, leaders and activists of various political parties, social organizations and common people started gathering in front of Moulvibazar Press Club. Within a short time, the club junction turned into a sea of thousands of people. After that, a huge protest procession started, which proceeded along the city’s main road.

The procession started from the Press Club and paraded through important areas of the city like Chowmuhana and Kusumbag. Then the procession went to Berirpar and ended again in front of the Press Club. Throughout the procession, the participants kept chanting slogans like ‘Free Free Palestine’, ‘We want justice for the bloodthirsty leader Netanyahu’, ‘Establish independent Palestine’ and ‘Israel is a terrorist state’.

The protesters strongly condemned the Israeli attacks in Gaza and called on the international community to stop this violence immediately. They demanded the trial of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reiterated the demand for the establishment of Palestine as an independent state.
