Sirajul Islam Chana, Chairman  of the Panchgaon Union Parishad, died after being shot in the clash. Twenty people were hurt. Their names and identities weren’t immediately revealed

On Friday (August 9), the chairman was shot and injured in a clash between the two parties at around 11 am, later rescued and admitted to Sylhet MAG Osmani Hospital, where he died at around 3:30 pm.
