Cattle has been distributed among the flood victims under the initiative of the Friends for Humanity Foundation in Rajnagar, Moulvibazar.
These were distributed in Khalagaon Karimpur High School premises on Saturday (September 14) afternoon. Cattle were distributed to 30 families at the initial stage with the help of local and foreign members of the foundation to make the flood victims self-reliant.
Rajnagar Upazila Executive Officer Suprabhat Chakma was present as the chief guest. Aminur Rashid, former teacher of Rajnagar Portius High School; Abbas Ali, former teacher of Khalagaon Karimpur High School; Mohammad Ashkan Miah, former UP member of Munsibazar Union; and Jayda Begum Tarafdar, headmistress of Khalagaon Karimpur High School, were present as special guests.
Muntasir Mishu, general secretary of the organisation, Junel Ahmed, and disaster and relief affairs secretary Abdur Rahim were present at the time. The invited guests appreciated the Friends for Humanity Foundation and promised to always stand by it, inspiring the members to continue to engage in humanitarian work in the future.
On behalf of the organisation, Muntasir Mishu discussed the goals, objectives, and future activities of the organization. He promised that this foundation will work with the help of helpless and distressed families in the future.
