Biswanath Upazila Awami League vice president arrested

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-9 has arrested the Awami League leader accused in the case of attack and sabotage on students during the anti-discrimination movement in Biswanath.

He was arrested from Vishwanath Town Hall on Wednesday (September 4) around 1 pm.

Arrested Fakhrul Ahmad Motchin (50) Chairman of No. 7 Deoklas Union and Vice President of Biswanath Upazila Awami League. He is one of the accused in the case (FIR No-12/78 of Bishwanath Thana) filed in the court on 21 August. RAB-9 is conducting an operation to catch the rest of the accused in this case.
