A price cut for tickets to Jeddah and Medina for Umrah pilgrims departing from Bangladesh has been announced by Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

According to a press release from Biman on Tuesday, the company has opened all booking classes, enabling pilgrims performing the Umrah to purchase tickets under any available fare class or Reservation Booking Designator (RBD), just like other passengers.

Previously, Umrah tickets were restricted to two specific RBD.

This change applies across all distribution channels, offering more flexibility and options for travellers.

Pilgrims who book their tickets early will benefit from the lowest available fares.

Additionally, those planning to start their Umrah journey by travelling directly from Bangladesh to Medina will receive attractive discounts on their tickets, said the release.
