Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Moulvibazar Celebrated Victory Day

On Monday, December 16, a discussion meeting and cultural program were held at the Shaheed Zia Auditorium of Moulvibazar Government College to commemorate the glorious Victory Day. As part of the event, honorary crests were awarded to over a hundred individuals injured during the July uprising, and educational materials were distributed among students.

The program commenced at 11:00 AM, hosted by Shah Misbah and Jakariya Imon, representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Moulvibazar District Chapter. The event was inaugurated by Professor Muhammad Mansur Alamgir, the Principal of Moulvibazar Government College.

The esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Moulvibazar, Mr. Muhammad Israil Hossain, attended as the chief guest. Other special guests included Superintendent of Police MKH Jahangir Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Abdus Salam Chowdhury, Vice Principal of Moulvibazar Government College Professor Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Professor Rafi Uddin, Associate Professors Hayat Mahmud and Manowar Hossain, and Assistant Professors Tarequzzaman, A.J.M. Hasan Kabir, and Lecturer Shafiqul Islam.

Representatives of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, including Ruhul Amin, Abdul Kadir, Samayel Ahmed, Suman Bhuiyan, Ashraf Uddin, Tanzia Shishir, Zaved Rahman, Usman Ali, Md. Imaz, Sumi Chowdhury, and Atikul Islam, also participated in the event.

The program featured patriotic songs performed by MOUCAS artist Jakariya Ahmed and other talented singers.
