The largest Facebook group in Rajnagar “Amader Rajnagar,” celebrated reaching 15 thousand members.

The event was held at the Zilla Parishad Auditorium near Rajnagar Upazila Parishad, with members from all eight unions of the upazila attending. Political leaders also participated to extend their greetings. The event emphasized the message of unity and harmony.

On Friday, 13 May, a large rally was organized, which circumnavigated the various roads of Rajnagar Bazar. Following this, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, and the members enjoyed various entertainment and educational activities, including free blood group testing, a quiz competition, and song and dance performances. Over 400 T-shirts were distributed among the members.

The event’s speakers included Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Monsurnagar UP Chairman Milon Bakht, Awami League Joint General Secretary Saheduzzaman Ansari Monai, Organizing Secretary Samsuddoha Rukon, Upazila Secchasebok League Joint Convenor Minaj Miah, Sramik League Upazila President Nannu Ahmad, and Chhatra League Organizing Secretary Robiul Haque Robin, among others.

Towkir Ahmed, a member of the “Amader Rajnagar” Facebook group, delivered the welcome speech.

In addition, administrators and moderators such as Sheikh Rehan Uddin Jubel, Sadikuzzaman Imran, Islam bin Yamin, Ashraf Arif, Sahel Ahmad, Saddam Hossain, and Sheikh Md. Anwar spoke at the event.

The success of the event was made possible by contributions from domestic and foreign donors, business organizations, social organizations, and media workers among the members.
