A protest rally of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front Moulvibazar district branch was held at Moulvibazar Choumuhna at 1 o’clock on Thursday (September 5) demanding to stop Indian aggression and stop indiscriminate killings by BSF on the border.

Samajtantrik Chhatra Front district president Biswajit Nandi presided over the meeting and General Secretary Rajiv Sutradhar moderated the gathering. Members Jubail Ahmed, Jisan Chowdhury, Ifaz Ahmed Koesh, Meem Sultana, Mahin Ahmed Ibrahim and others spoke in the rally.

Speakers at the rally said the Indian Border Force BSF shot dead a 15-year-old boy named Felani Khatun in 2011. Felani’s body hanging on the barbed wire created a sensation all over the world, but the killer BSF soldiers were not brought to justice. 8th standard student Swarna Das was shot dead by the BSF while crossing the border at Kulaura to visit her elder brother in India’s Tripura on September 1.

He also injured Swarna’s mother who was with him. Every year BSF indiscriminately shoot and kill many Bangladeshis. As a result of our knee-jerk foreign policy, every year Bangladeshis were killed indiscriminately by the BSF, but there was no justice, but the government did not talk about it even though the people demanded an end to this injustice.

India is not a friendly country, we have to understand that India is an imperialist country. As a result, he is doing all kinds of injustice to neighboring country Bangladesh to sustain his empire. Bangladesh is not getting its fair share of water, the rivers of Bangladesh have dried up as India has dammed all the international rivers. North Bengal is being turned into a desert by damming the Teesta. And when there is no need for water, Bangladesh is being flooded with flood water by opening all the gates.

We all the freedom-loving people of Bangladesh are demanding justice for the indiscriminate killing of Bangladeshis by BSF firing and an end to this brutal killing.
