A day-long science fair was organized at ‘St. Martha’s High School’ in Srimangal, Moulvibazar, under the theme “Priority of science education, will enrich the wealth of knowledge”.
The fair was organized on the campus of St. Martha’s High School in Debbari area of the city on Thursday (September 26) at 10 am.
In the opening ceremony of the fair, head teacher of St. Martha’s High School, Sister Rikta Gomez RNDM, chaired by the chief guest Moulvibazar District Commissioner. Israel Hossain, District Education Officer was the special guest. Fazlur Rahman upazila executive officer. Abu Taleb, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Salauddin Biswas,Upazila Education Officer. Rafiqul Islam, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Dilip Kumar Vardhan, School Managing Committee President Father Joseph Gomez OMI, Member Janak Debbarma etc. Later, the guests visited the students’ exhibitions.
It was seen that the students are demonstrating their talent with 68 team projects of various types. At the fair, students showcased ‘eco-friendly projects, various parts of plants, solar systems, generators, security alerts, traffic management and congestion-free cities.
The students presented exhibits on human body, ICT and cleanliness etc. This was followed by a short discussion session of the science fair and group cultural dance with the participation of the students.
