Thousands took to the streets of Bhanugach Bazar, Kamalganj, yesterday in a powerful demonstration against the ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine. Organized by Muslim Unity Kamalganj, the rally drew participants from diverse segments of society.

On Monday, April 14th at 5 PM, leaders and activists from the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and social organizations including Al Islah, alongside a significant number of general citizens, began assembling at Bhanugach Bazar. Within a short period, the area transformed into a vast gathering of people united in their condemnation of the violence in Palestine. Subsequently, a large protest procession commenced, moving along the main thoroughfares of Kamalganj.

The procession, starting from Bhanugach Bazar, proceeded through key locality areas. Throughout the march, demonstrators passionately chanted slogans such as “Free Free Palestine,” “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” “1, 2, 3, 4— occupation no more.”

The protesters vehemently denounced the Israeli attacks in Palestine and urged the international community to take immediate action to halt the violence. They emphatically demanded the trial of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and reiterated their unwavering call for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
