Iftar Mahfil and Eid Gift Distribution for Underprivileged Children in Moulvibazar

To share the joy of Eid with underprivileged children, “Friends and Family” organized an Iftar Mahfil and Eid gift distribution event in Moulvibazar.

On Wednesday (March 26), the event was held at an elite restaurant in the city, where around 100 orphaned and underprivileged children were provided with new Eid clothes and arrangements were made for their Iftar.

The event was presided over by one of the organizers of “Friends and Family,” Dr. Nijam Ahmed Chowdhury, and moderated by Quazi Mahfuzur Rahman. The chief guest of the event was Professor Md. Alamgir Monsur, Principal of Moulvibazar Government College.

Praising this initiative, he said, “Ramadan teaches us restraint, generosity, and compassion. The true essence of this lesson is fulfilled through noble acts like bringing smiles to the faces of underprivileged children.”

The special guests at the event included Public Prosecutor Advocate Motin Chowdhury and Maulana Md. Samsul Islam, Principal of Moulvibazar Town Kamil Madrasa.

Additionally, present at the event were Yakub Tajul Women’s Degree College Principal Gias Uddin, Moulvibazar Government College teacher Selim Ahmed, organizers and members of the organization Alal Khan, Syed Mustafizur Rahman, and others.

The organizers stated that the main objective of the event was to share the joy of Eid with underprivileged children and bring smiles to their faces. With the support of members of “Friends and Family” and their families, new clothes and Iftar were provided to the children. They also affirmed their commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future, embracing the true spirit of Ramadan.
