Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Assistant Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and President of the party’s central youth wing, stated that the nation has risen against fascism and will erase all traces of it. He declared that the nation would obliterate every symbol of fascism—wherever it was born, nurtured, or used to destroy the people.

He made these remarks as the chief guest at the Youth Conference organized by the youth wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Moulvibazar district branch, at the Moulvibazar Government High School field on Friday (February 7) in the afternoon.

He further said, “Today, this nation has proven through unity that no matter how powerful fascism is, no matter how aggressive it becomes, how many murders and enforced disappearances it commits, how many torture chambers it builds, or how many extrajudicial killings it carries out, it cannot be stopped. When this nation rises, no one can suppress it.”

The event was presided over by Mohammad Fakhrul Islam, President of the Youth Division, Moulvibazar district, and conducted by its Secretary, Anwar Hossain Chowdhury Murshed. Special guests included Moulvibazar District Jamaat Ameer Engineer Shahed Ali, former District Ameer Abdul Mannan, Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Abdur Rahman, District Secretary Mohammad Yameer Ali, Jamaat’s Executive Council Member and Moulvibazar-1 Constituency MP candidate Maulana Aminul Islam, Municipal Jamaat Ameer Hafiz Tajul Islam, and Rajnagar Upazila Jamaat Ameer Abur Raiyan Shahin.

The chief guest continued, “Today, weapons and drugs are being placed in the hands of the youth, engaging them in destructive activities. We want to free our youth from weapons and drugs. We want to empower them with moral education so that they can take leadership roles in the most crucial sectors of the nation and the state.”

He further added, “Even after six months of fascism, those terrorists have not yet been brought to justice. They still threaten us, claiming they will enter the country, kill, abduct, and burn down homes. They have not yet seen the true strength of this nation. This fascism must be tackled at the national, international, and diplomatic levels.”

Earlier in the day, a day-long educational camp was organized by the district Jamaat at Moulvibazar Municipal Auditorium, bringing together former members and associates.
