The leaders and activists of the Awami League, which is currently in retreat after a public and student-led rebellion that resulted in its overthrow, have been urged to get more involved on social media.

The party referred to grassroots activists and leaders as the “beacons of hope” in times of crises in a message published on its verified Facebook page on Friday.

“Your commitment and sacrifices for the party are our greatest strength during this trying time,” the instruction stated. Continue to be active on social media, share all posts from our page, build party relationships, and always be on the lookout for new information.

Addressing its supporters, the party expressed gratitude to those who have continued to stand firm, saying: “We honor those who have stood firm with courage. Your sacrifices for the nation will never go in vain. Unity, courage, and struggle will guide our way. Stay prepared.”
