The Detective Branch (DB) of Moulvibazar district police recovered 200 yaba pills from the area. Abdul Qayyum (26) and Md. Two people, identified as Kashem Mia (29), have been arrested.

On Tuesday night, a group of DB officers under the command of ASI Shahab Uddin carried out a checkpoint in the Moulvibazar Sadar upazila’s Islampur neighborhood in response to a tip.
Two individuals were taken into custody from a Rajnagar-bound CNG-powered autorickshaw.

Two polybags containing 200 pieces of pink Yaba tablets were found by the police.

“During primary interrogation, the two arrested admitted to obtaining yaba tablets from the Indian border in Phultala area of Juri upazila and reselling them in various locations,” stated Md Ashraful Islam, officer-in-charge of Moulvibazar DB. In this regard, a case was submitted to the Moulvibazar Sadar police station.
