In Sreemangal, police have taken into custody a narcotics dealer carrying ten kilograms of ganja.Md Alal, 55, was taken into custody on Sunday after a police drive headed by Officer-in-Charge Md Aminul Islam of the Sreemangal police station. Md Alal was found in possession of 10 kg of ganja and was found across from the Sundarbans Courier Service Office on Moulvibazar Road in the Sreemangal municipality.

The arrested Alal is the son of Chandu Mia of Sujatpur village of Baniyachong upazila of Habiganj district. He is a resident of Ukilbari Road in Srimangal town.

Md Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sreemangal police station, said Alal was a professional drug trader. He was sent to jail through the Moulvibazar District Wise Court on Monday morning after a case was filed against him under the Narcotics Control Act with Sreemangal police station.
