The private schools and madrasa education families have submitted human bonds and memorandums demanding the nationalization of secondary level private educational institutions, stopping the appointment of government school teachers in various positions in the education administration before nationalization and formation of education reform commission.

On Tuesday (September 24) morning in front of the Moulvibazar Press Club, a memorandum was handed over to the Deputy Commissioner after the human chain.
Moulvibazar Hafiza Khatun Girls High School headmistress Rasheda Begum spoke in the human chain, teachers Abhinash Chandra Dey, Shafiqur Rahman, Mishrani Bhattacharya, Poli Mallick etc.

Nationalization of secondary level private educational institutions (schools and madrasas), stop posting of senior teachers of government high schools to upazila secondary education office and district education office and demand formation of education reform commission.
The teachers in the human chain said, drawing your kind attention, I present three major demands, which will illuminate our future by making our education system effective and equitable. First, nationalization of secondary level private educational institutions (schools and madrasas). A large number of students in remote areas of the country are still deprived of quality education.Nationalizing these institutions will increase the quality of education, and all students will stand on a level playing field. Coming under government control will facilitate orderly and proper administrative activities in these institutions which will be good for teachers and students.

Secondly, if senior teachers of government high schools are posted in upazila and district education offices, it will be detrimental to the education system. A teacher’s primary responsibility is teaching in the classroom, not administrative work; If there are fewer teachers, the quality of education decreases and the future of students is harmed. Therefore, we want the experienced officers currently working in the education office, who have been in the same position for 31 years, to be posted to the upazila and district education office soon. Thirdly, the formation of the Education Reform Commission is very important, because at present there are many challenges and irregularities in our education system, especially the disparity between private and public schools is evident.

This commission will play a vital role in shaping the future of students by bringing long-term reforms to keep the education system up-to-date with globalization. The main goal of the commission will be to ensure equality and proper guidance of students.
At the end of the human chain, a memorandum was presented to the Moulvibazar District Commissioner.
