Chief Adviser visits Army HQ for the first time

Prof. Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government, made his first visit to the army headquarters on Sunday, where he received a briefing on significant matters pertaining to national security.

According to a media statement from ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman greeted the chief adviser upon his arrival at the headquarters.

 

The chief adviser’s insightful advice during the visit will be very beneficial in ensuring that everyone plays a productive part in the development and execution of the future action plan, according to ISPR.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Tauhid Hossain, Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd), Special Assistant to Chief Adviser on Defence Lt Gen Abdul Hafiz (retd), Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, Navy and Air Force Chiefs, among others, were present.
