The new chairman of the airplane is Abdul Mueed Chowdhury of Kulaura

Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, a former advisor to the caretaker government, has been appointed as the new chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

A notification signed by Rumana Yasmin, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Private Aviation and Tourism, was issued appointing him (August 18).

Abdul Muhid Chowdhury is a native of Hajipur village of Hajipur union of Kulaura upazila.

Abdul Mueed has been appointed as the new chairman after relieving the previous chairman Mustafa Kamal Uddin from his duties.

In 2001, he served as an advisor to the caretaker government led by former Chief Justice and former chief adviser to the caretaker government Latifur Rahman.
