The 93rd birth anniversary of former Finance and Planning Minister late M Saifur Rahman has been observed. M Saifur Rahman Memorial Council, Bangladesh organized various programs on the occasion of his birthday on 6 October. In the afternoon, members of M Saifur Rahman Memorial Council, Bangladesh, placed wreaths at the grave of the deceased at Baharmardan village in Moulvibazar Sadar upazila.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, chairperson’s adviser Abdul Awal Mintoo, BNP joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, organising secretary Abdus Salam Azad and ex-Dhaka City unit BNP members secretary Abdus Salam were, among others, present at the meeting. Joint General Secretaries of the Awami League Dr Dipu Moni and Abdur Rahman, Organising Secretaries Ahmad Hossen, AKM Enamul Haq Shamim, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, and Muhibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel also attended the briefing.The other members of the committee are Imad Uddin, Hafiz Abdul Alim and others.
