6 thousand kg of hilsa went to India through the Sharifpur border in Kulaura

On the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja, 6 thousand 175 kg of hilsa fish were exported to India through Chatlapur ground customs station of Kulaura Upazila Sharifpur Union of Moulvibazar.

3 thousand 450 kg of fish were exported on Thursday (October 10) afternoon. Before this, 2 thousand 725 kg of hilsa was exported in the first phase on September 30. The export price of hilsa per kg is 10 dollars, which is about 1200 taka in Bangladeshi currency.

The revenue officer of Chatlapur land customs station confirmed the matter. Mahfuz Hossain said that the government-approved exporting company Fatia International has exported 6 thousand 175 kg of fish in two phases.
