A motorcycle rider was killed in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and CNG at Adpasha of Amoil Union in Sadar Upazila of Moulvibazar.

The incident took place on Adpasha road on Sunday (August 25) afternoon.

The deceased are Anup Chand (33), son of Ranju Chand of Mirzapur village of Srimangal Upazila and Anik Chand (25), son of his cousin Manju Chand.

Locals said that on the way from Mirzapur village to Moulvibazar city, two motorcycle riders died on the spot when a CNG truck collided head-on in Adpasha area.

Moulvibazar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) K M Nazrul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident.
